Purple Room & Orange Room

Toddlers need a sensory-rich environment with ample time for movement and exploration. This allows them to develop a strong vocabulary and curiosity.

What This Stage Looks Like

Growing independence is a hallmark of the year, with milestones such as self-feeding, handwashing, and increasingly coordinated movement. Toddlers also begin to refine their communication skills through purposeful listening and responding to their name.

Parallel play becomes a regular part of the day, laying early foundations for social connection.

Families often celebrate emerging milestones in toilet learning as toddlers begin signaling needs, practicing dressing skills, and becoming comfortable with toileting routines alongside caring teacher support.

What Our Toddler Teachers See

This age is exciting because we can develop so many skills at once through just one activity! A single hands-on experience can support early math skills (counting and sorting), fine motor strength (scooping, bagging, planting), and social development (taking turns and imaginative play).
