About Us
With over 50 years of serving our community, hundreds of children have taken their first steps in their educational journey at St. George's School. These first steps provide a solid foundation for school readiness. With our attention to what is developmentally appropriate the children are challenged in all areas of development with particular attention to pre-reading and pre-writing, ensuring a strong literacy start. When parents ask what makes St. George's School stand out or special they hear about the close sense of community, parent involvement, and exceptional teachers.
Our curriculum is designed around the developing child. School activities are designed to support the cognitive, physical, social, emotional, and spiritual development of each child. All of this is offered in a secure and loving environment, which allows the child's potential to be developed.
St. George's School is accredited by the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC), recognized as a 4 star school through Texas Rising Star, is licensed by the Texas Department of Family and Regulatory Services (TDFPS), and a member of the Southwestern Association of Episcopal Schools.
